I challenged myself to write some lyrics that rhymed, then it turned into this thing that actually reflected a lot of how I feel about someone. They aren't my best, but eventually (read: maybe) they will be made into a song.

There are a few references to "I Melt With You" by Modern English. When this person and I were going out, that was "our song" and... yeah... just to be on the safe side: I DON'T OWN "I MELT WITH YOU"!

You Suck
I saw the word lithium and immediately thought of you
But as to why this happened, I haven't got a clue.
I thought of all those highs and lows that we ran like a race,
How every night I used to dream and see your face...
But now I know it was all just mesh and lace.

And although it feels quite demanded,
I refuse to leave here empty handed.
This whole year has brought me crashing to the ground.
I can only hope to do better my next time around.

The breaking down of "what could be"s
Made me regret doing all those things.

And although this has been long-awaited,
You probably understand it's complicated.
This whole thing has made me breathless at the sound.
I can only hope things work out better the next time around.
